Marcell Ozuna is now 5-for-5 this spring after collecting a double and two singles in leading a Miami Marlins split squad to a 4-4 spring training tie with New York Mets on Friday in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Ozuna has a home run and two doubles in his first two exhibition games. Mets prospect Dilson Herrera was 2-for-2, including a game-tying, inside-the-park homer in the ninth inning.

Jackie Bradley Jr. went 2-for-2 with a home run for Boston in Fort Myers, Fla., but David Ortiz went 0-for-3 in his first exhibition game of his final spring. James Loney and Logan Morrison each had two hits for the Rays and Chris Archer pitched two hitless innings, although he hit a batter.

Maikel Franco hit his second home run in two days and added a run-scoring single to lead Philadelphia in Clearwater, Fla.

Pittsburgh left-hander Francisco Liriano struck out four while pitching two scoreless inning in what ended up as a tie in Bradenton, Fla. Gregory Polanco went 3-for-3 for Pittsburgh.

Left-hander Gio Gonzalez allowed two hits in two scoreless innings in his first start of spring training for Washington, which lost to a Miami split squad in Jupiter, Fla. Justin Maxwell hit a game-winning, three-run homer in the ninth inning off Paolo Espino for his second homer in two games.

Russell Martin hit a long home run off Andrew Triggs and 2015 AL MVP Josh Donaldson drove in a run for Toronto in Dunedin, Fla. Triggs gave up three homers in the fourth inning.

Chicago's Brett Lawrie and Jason Coats hit home runs off Cleveland starter Trevor Bauer in the tie in Glendale, Ariz. Hector Sanchez tied the score with a two-run single for the White Sox in the ninth.

Los Angeles left-hander Scott Kazmir, who signed a three-year, $48 million contract, allowed hits to six of 10 batters he faced in two innings, including RBI singles by Adrian Beltre and Michael McKenry, in a tie in Surprise, Ariz.

Chicago's Addison Russell hit a two-run homer off Jose Alvarez before a Cactus League-record crowd of 15,446 at Sloan Park in Mesa, Ariz. Los Angeles starter Jered Weaver allowed two hits and struck out three in two innings. Cubs starter Pierce Johnson gave up two hits in two innings. Craig Gentry had two hits for the Angels.

Madison Bumgarner allowed a first-inning home run to Eugenio Suarez but struck out the side in the second inning of San Francisco's victory in Goodyear, Ariz. Suarez has four extra-base hits in his three games.

Zack Greinke pitched two scoreless innings in his Arizona spring training debut in Scottdale, Ariz. Greinke, who signed a six-year, $206.5 million contract in the offseason, gave up one hit and struck out two.

Khris Davis drove in three runs and Franklin Barreto, Oakland's top prospect, added a home run for an Oakland split squad in Mesa, Ariz. A's closer Sean Doolittle made his first appearance of the spring and gave up a run and three hits in one inning.

Wily Peralta and Chris Capuano pitched two scoreless innings apiece in Phoenix for the Brewers, who have given up just three runs in two wins to start the exhibition season.
Mike Baxter hit a long two-run homer to center field for the Mariners.
