Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid underwent knee replacement surgery and will miss next week's NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis.

The Chiefs confirmed the procedure on Saturday, according to published reports.

Reid, who turns 58 in March, also had a knee replacement surgery performed after the 2014 season. That procedure caused him to miss the Senior Bowl.

Reid's unavailability isn't expected to be an issue for the Chiefs. The NFL Draft doesn't begin until April 28.
