The Miami Marlins agreed to terms with left-handed reliever Craig Breslow on a minor-league contract Friday, according to published reports.
Breslow will be invited to spring training and allowed to opt-out of the contract if he doesn't make the big league team.
Breslow, 35, spent the past 3 1/2 seasons with the Boston Red Sox. He was 0-4 with a 4.15 ERA in 45 appearances last season.
He is 22-27 with a 3.31 ERA in 524 career appearances over 10 major-league seasons. He has pitched for six different clubs.
