SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Carolina Panthers wide receiver Corey Brown left Super Bowl 50 after suffering a concussion in the third quarter Sunday, and he was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Brown hauled in a 45-yard pass from Cam Newton on the Panthers' second play in the third quarter, going up to snag a contested reception and landing at the Denver 35. He motioned to the sideline but reached the Panthers' bench under his own power.

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Shaq Barrett also left the game with a possible concussion. He was on the receiving end of a blindside hit -- for which the Panthers were flagged -- covering a punt.

Panthers left guard Andrew Norwell left the game with a hamstring injury in the third quarter. His return is questionable.
