Randy Wittman coached the team to a 123-122 win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night. He got emotional afterward when a reporter brought up his brother.

"He was here," Wittman said of his brother. "You know, he watches every game from a La-Z-Boy. And he's watching up in heaven from a La-Z-Boy."

The Wizards announced that assistant coach Don Newman will coach the team on Monday at Oklahoma City and in Wednesday's home game against Golden State.

Wittman is expected back Friday when the Wizards host the Philadelphia 76ers.
