Place-kicker Josh Brown and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie were added to the Pro Bowl player pool on Tuesday, replacing Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski and cornerback Malcolm Butler.

Gostkowski and Butler opted out following New England's loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship game.

Rodgers-Cromartie had three interceptions and 13 passes defensed in 2015 and was a Pro Bowl pick in 2010 with the Arizona Cardinals.

Brown made 30 of 32 field goals in 2015. This is the first selection to the Pro Bowl for the 13-year veteran.

Quarterback Eli Manning, an alternate named to the game in place of injured Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. are also part of the Pro Bowl.

Players will be drafted by captains Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin in a televised event Wednesday night.
