Reports indicated that the 38-year-old McAdoo impressed the Giants in his interview with his vision for the job, which opened when Tom Coughlin stepped aside of the season.

It is believed that McAdoo plans to retain Steve Spagnuolo as defensive coordinator.

Before McAdoo arrived in New York, he spent eight years with the Green Bay Packers as tight ends coach for the first six seasons and as quarterbacks coach for the last two.
