The Milwaukee Bucks met with free-agent forward Carlos Boozer this week to discuss a possible deal, according to a report.

Boozer has not played yet this year. He became a free agent in the offseason after one year with the Los Angeles Lakers and remains unsigned.

Bucks coach Jason Kidd and general manager John Hammond met privately with Boozer in Los Angeles, Yahoo Sports reported Thursday.

The Bucks dropped games in Los Angeles to the Lakers and Clippers this week. Milwaukee has a need for frontcourt help while center Greg Monroe continues to be sidelined with a sprained MCL in his right knee.

Last season with the Lakers, Boozer averaged 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting 49.9 percent from the field.

The 34-year-old Boozer has career averages of 16.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 13 NBA seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls and Lakers.
