San Diego Chargers bring back WR Vincent Brown

The San Diego Chargers signed former 2011 third-round selection wide receiver Vincent Brown on Tuesday.

The 5-11, 195-pound veteran out of San Diego State spent his first three NFL seasons with the Chargers, then spent last season in Oakland and went to training camp with the Indianapolis Colts this year.

Brown has played in 37 career NFL games and made 16 starts. As a rookie in 2011, he caught 19 passes for 329 yards and a pair of scores. After spending the 2012 season on injured reserve, he returned in 2013 to play in all 16 games, catching 41 passes for 472 yards and a touchdown. Last season, he played in seven games for the Raiders, catching 12 passes for 118 yards.
