New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara will miss his fifth straight game with a pectoral tear after being ruled out against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

"He keeps improving," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Friday of Amukamara. "The medical people have a firm hold on his situation."

Amukamara practiced on a limited basis this week, wearing a shoulder harness. Coughlin said the Giants brought Amukamara back to practice earlier than anticipated in order to keep his legs in shape.

Also ruled out for Sunday's game were tight end Larry Donnell, who will miss his second game in a row with a neck injury, linebackers Uani Unga (neck) and J.T. Thomas (ankle), and wide receiver Victor Cruz (knee, calf).

Cornerback Leon McFadden (groin) was listed as questionable. Guards Justin Pugh (illness) and Geoff Schwartz (ankle) were listed as probable.
