Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Shaun Suisham reportedly suffered a torn ACL on Sunday and is expected to miss the season.

Suisham incurred the injury to his left knee during the Steelers' 14-3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in the Hall of Fame Game, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Monday that he will undergo surgery and likely be placed on injured reserve.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters Sunday that Suisham had sustained a "potentially significant" knee injury while trying to make a tackle.

Suisham, 33, was entering the second year of a four-year, $12.575 million contract he signed last August. Last season, he made 29 of 32 field goal attempts.

The Steelers reportedly were set to bring in veterans Jay Feely, Alex Henery and Garrett Hartley for tryouts.
