He was traded on draft night to Houston where he played three seasons before being traded to Minnesota in 2012. He has averaged 8.5 points per game in his NBA career.
Rudez played one season with the Pacers after signing as a free agent last July. The 29-year-old Rudez had previously played professionally in Europe. He played in 68 games, starting twice, and averaged 4.8 points per game.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed, but the deal is reportedly for three years and worth $20 million.
