MLB Game Summary - Minnesota at Milwaukee

Ryan Braun and Adam Lind both hit two-run homers in the eighth to help the Milwaukee Brewers to a 5-3 win over the Minnesota Twins in the rubber match of a three-game set on Sunday.

Jonathan Lucroy drew a walk off Casey Fien (2-3) before Braun drilled a 1-0 slider over the wall in left center to give the Brewers the lead.

Carlos Gomez then singled and Lind made it a 5-1 game with his homer to left.

Torii Hunter hit his third home run of the series, a two-run shot off Francisco Rodriguez in the ninth, to pull the Twins closer. Rodriguez had trouble closing it out as the Twins put runners at the corners with two outs for Brian Dozier, who struck out looking to end the game.

Will Smith (4-0) picked up the win in relief of Brewers starter Mike Fiers.

Minnesota's Tommy Milone and Fiers were in a pitchers' duel early on before both teams broke through with a run in the seventh.

Joe Mauer singled to begin the seventh and Trevor Plouffe followed with a base hit that put runners at the corners. After Hunter popped out, Kurt Suzuki's walk loaded the bases and Eduardo Escobar opened the scoring with a sacrifice fly to left.

Blaine Boyer could not hold the lead for Milone, however, as Milwaukee tied the game in the home half.

Aramis Ramirez doubled to start the inning and was sacrificed over to third by Hernan Perez. Boyer got Shane Peterson to ground out to first, but pinch- hitter Gerardo Parra picked up his teammate with an RBI single to left.
