Seattle Mariners' Cano hit by throw in dugout, leaves game

Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano left Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels after he was hit in the head by an errant throw while sitting in the dugout.

The Angels infield was warming up before Seattle's turn at the plate in the seventh when a throw went over the head of first baseman Albert Pujols and sailed into the Seattle dugout.

The ball hit Cano on the forehead. He was examined by medical staff as he had a large knot on his forehead. Cano eventually walked into the locker room under his own power.
