Aramis Ramirez hit a two-run home run as the Milwaukee Brewers took a 10-4 victory over the Minnesota Twins to open a three-game set.
Jean Segura drove in a pair while Gerardo Parra and Scooter Gennett each hit a solo home run for the Brewers, who have won three of their last four.
Kyle Lohse (4-9) won for the first time in eight starts as he allowed four runs on six hits over six innings.
Trevor Plouffe hit a two-run home run and Brian Dozier added a solo shot for the Twins, who have lost four of their last six.
Trevor May (4-6) dropped his third straight decision as he gave up six runs on six hits while recording just one out in the first inning.
The Twins got a leadoff homer from Dozier to start the game, but the lead was short-lived.
Parra led off the home first with his fifth homer of the season, and Jonathan Lucroy doubled before Ryan Braun brought him home with a single for the lead. Adam Lind followed with a single, and Braun scored on a bad throw from May on a Carlos Gomez grounder. Segura then singled home two more, and a Lohse suicide squeeze made it a 6-1 game.
That spelled the end of May's brief start with Alex Meyer coming on and retiring the next two batters to get out of the inning.
Milwaukee kept pouring it on in the second, as Gomez singled home one and Ramirez followed with his ninth homer of the season. Gennett later blasted his fourth of the season for a 10-1 lead.
An Eddie Rosario fielder's choice in the fourth got a run back for the Twins, and Plouffe's two-run homer in the sixth made it a 10-4 game.
