Montreal Canadiens crush Tampa Bay Lightning

Max Pacioretty had a goal and two assists as the Montreal Canadiens emphatically avoided a sweep with a 6-2 victory over the host Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Carey Price made 22 saves and six different players scored for the Canadiens, who had totaled four goals in the first three games of this series and snapped an eight-game losing streak to the Lightning.

Montreal still must win three more games to become the fifth team in NHL history to rally from a 3-0 series deficit. Game 5 is Saturday night in Montreal.

Tampa Bay's Ben Bishop was pulled five minutes into the second period after allowing three goals on 14 shots.
