The Ducks spoiled the return of playoff hockey to the city of Winnipeg for the first time in 19 years with yet another late thrilling comeback.
Rickard Rakell scored the game-winning goal 5:12 into overtime to give Anaheim a commanding 3-0 series lead with a 5-4 win over the Jets in the best-of-seven Western Conference quarterfinal series.
Winnipeg held a one-goal lead heading into the third period for a third straight game, but Ryan Kesler tied it with 2:14 left to send the game past regulation.
Jakob Silfverberg finished with a goal and two assist, Kesler supplied a goal and a helper and Cam Fowler and Corey Perry also lit the lamp for the Ducks, who improved to 36-1-7 in one-goal games this season.
Frederik Andersen made 31 saves in the win.
The last playoff game in Winnipeg took place on April 28, 1996.
The Ducks will look to complete the series sweep Wednesday at MTS Centre.
