Cahill, who will reportedly have 5.5 million of his $12 million salary paid by the Braves, is coming off the worst season of his six-year career. The right- hander went 3-12 with a 5.61 earned run average in 32 games (17 starts) with Arizona in 2014.

The 27-year-old was an All-Star in 2010 and has compiled a 64-69 record with a 4.07 ERA in 186 games with Oakland and Arizona.
