Dragic recently said he wanted out of Phoenix and would have left as a free agent after the season. He was not happy with his role in the Suns' crowded backcourt.

"I don't trust them anymore," Dragic said after the Suns' practice Wednesday.

The Suns received Danny Granger and two future first-round picks -- 2017 top- seven protected and unprotected 2021 -- from the Heat. They also got swingman John Salmons, who will be waived, from the New Orleans Pelicans.

Phoenix also sent Dragic's brother, Zoran, to Miami in the deal.

New Orleans got guard Norris Cole, forward Shawne Williams and center Justin Hamilton from Miami in the trade.

Goran Dragic was in his second go-round with the Suns, signing as a free agent in July 2012. He played with Phoenix for his first two-plus NBA seasons before being traded to Houston in February 2011.
