The Thunder head into the All-Star break a season-high three games over .500 thanks to one of their more impressive wins of the season on Wednesday.
Kevin Durant scored 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in leading Oklahoma City to a thorough 105-89 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Thunder (28-25) led by as many as 22 and moved within a half-game of the Phoenix Suns in what figures to be a tight race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Russell Westbrook flirted with a triple-double, totaling 24 points, nine assists and nine rebounds, while Nick Collison chipped in a season-high 15 points and nine boards off the bench.
Zach Randolph led Memphis with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while All-Star Marc Gasol was limited to eight points on 2-of-10 shooting.
Memphis still leads the Southwest Division with a 39-14 record and is second in the West standings behind Golden State.
The Thunder dropped 35 points on one of the NBA's best defenses in the first quarter. Durant poured in 13 and Collison drained a rare 3-pointer -- his first since Nov. 19 -- to stake Oklahoma City to a 35-26 lead.
It was a one-possession game midway through the second before a 15-0 run provided the Thunder with some cushion. Durant hit two 3-pointers during the three-minute stretch, and the hosts took a 66-48 advantage into halftime.
The shooting discrepancies were startling in the first half, as the Thunder made 57 percent of their shots and limited the Grizzlies to 36 percent.
Even though Memphis won the third quarter, the difference was no less than 11 the entire second half. Beno Udrih's 3-pointer pulled Memphis within 93-82 with just over six minutes remaining, but the Grizzlies went the next 4 1/2 minutes without scoring.
