Brian Boyle scores 2 as Tampa Bay Lightning top Ducks

The Tampa Bay Lightning scored three first- period goals and held on to beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-3 on Sunday.

Brian Boyle scored twice to lead Tampa Bay to its 11th win in its last 12 home games. Valtteri Filppula had a goal and two assists, Ryan Callahan had a goal and an assist, and Steven Stamkos tallied two assists. Nikita Kucherov scored his 20th goal as well.

Ben Bishop made 25 saves on 28 shots to rebound from Saturday's loss to the Los Angeles Kings.

Frederick Andersen was chased from the game in the third period after allowing all five Lightning goals on 22 shots. The Ducks fell to 1-1-1 on their ongoing five-game road trip.

Ryan Getzlaf was credited with his 200th NHL goal, and Sami Vatanen and Eric Brewer also scored for Anaheim.
