Curry, Golden State Warriors top Phoenix Suns

Steph Curry tallied 25 points and seven assists as the Golden State Warriors snapped a two-game slide with a convincing 106-87 win over the Phoenix Suns.

Klay Thompson netted 22 points and Leandro Barbosa added 14 in his second straight strong bench effort for Golden State, which endured its third two- game losing streak of the season but has still not dropped three straight games.

Draymond Green added 11 rebounds and four assists while Harrison Barnes and Andre Iguodala gave 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Markieff Morris posted his second straight double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds for Phoenix, which hadn't been away from home since an overtime loss to Memphis on Jan. 11.

The Suns have dropped three of five overall and lost three straight road games.

Golden State led by eight through three quarters and put the game away midway through the fourth. After Brandan Wright's dunk had Phoenix within seven, Iguodala hit a pull-up jumper that sparked a 15-2 run.

Curry hit three 3s in the second as the Warriors climbed in front. They briefly lost the lead when Morris opened the second half with a turnaround jumper, but Thompson scored the next five points and Golden State led the rest of the way.
