The caddie for Robert Allenby says the golfer was beaten and robbed after being kidnapped from a wine bar near Waikiki, Hawaii, on Friday night.

Mick Middlemo told Golf Channel that Allenby was dropped off in a park 6 1/2 miles from where he was taken following a night out after missing the cut at the Sony Open in Honolulu.

The network showed a picture it says was taken by Allenby in which the golfer appears to have scratches on his forehead and nose.

According to the report, Allenby woke up "groggy and with no recollection of what had happened to him." He was robbed of his cash, credit cards, cell phone and wallet.

The Australian was picked up in a park "by a retired military individual" and taken back to his hotel, according to the report.

GolfChannel.com reported that surveillance footage shows Allenby leaving the parking lot with "5 or 6 people" after signing his check at the Amuse Wine Bar. A woman at the scene reported seeing Allenby being dumped from the trunk of a car, according to the report.
