Ray Lewis III, the son of former Baltimore Ravens linebacker and two-time Super Bowl champion Ray Lewis, has transferred to Coastal Carolina from the University of Miami.

The 5-foot-9, 190-pound cornerback is one of four 2015 additions announced by Coastal Carolina coach Joe Moglia Tuesday. Lewis III, from Longwood, Florida, spent two seasons at Miami and will have three years of eligibility remaining. He redshirted as a true freshman in 2013 and did not see action this past season.

He was a three-star running back by ESPNU, 247Sports.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com at Lake Mary Prep in the Orlando area.

Coastal Carolina finished 12-2 as a Big South Conference co-champion this past season, reaching the FCS playoff quarterfinals and finishing fifth in The Sports Network FCS Top 25.
