BEAVERTON, Ore., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Marty McFly's self-lacing, light-up shoes from Back to the Future Part II could have a counterpart hitting the market by the end of 2015, according to oregonlive.com.
Allen Brettman reported that Tuesday at the Agenda Trade Show in Long Beach, Calif., that Nike designer Tinker Hatfield said the company would likely release the Nike MAG shoes with power laces.
In 2011, the company released a pair of Nike MAGs, without power laces, that were an exact replica of the pair Michael J. Fox wore as McFly in the film, as he traveled into the year 2015. Those shoes are available on eBay for $9,000.
