The New Orleans Pelicans have signed veteran forward Dante Cunningham to an undisclosed contract, the team announced Thursday.

Cunningham owns career averages of 6.2 points and 3.9 rebounds over five NBA seasons, the last two of which were spent with Minnesota. The 27-year-old played in 81 games with the Timberwolves in 2013-14, averaging 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds.

An unrestricted free agent during the offseason, Cunningham did not draw any offers after being arrested in April on domestic assault charges that were later dropped.

Cunningham, who will be in uniform for New Orleans' game at Golden State on Thursday, has also previously played for Portland, Charlotte and Memphis.
