Perry has become one of the world's most popular entertainers since her debut album One of the Boys was released in 2008. Featuring songs "I Kissed A Girl" and "Hot N Cold," Perry shot to the top of the charts.

Her album "Teenage Dream" in 2010 made her the only female artist to have five No. 1 singles from one album on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and she is the first artist to surpass the 75 million digital award threshold, which counts digital downloads and on-demand streams.

Bruno Mars headlined the most recent Super Bowl, while past performances included Beyonce, Madonna, The Black Eyed Peas and The Who.
