Raven Lee scored 25 points to lead the Eastern Michigan Eagles to a 70-62 win over the UNC Greensboro Spartans as part of the EMU Showcase at the EMU Convocation Center.
Mike Talley contributed 17 points and four assists for the Eagles (4-0). Karrington Ward added 12 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the win.
As for the Spartans, (1-3), Kayel Locke scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds. Tevon Saddler chipped in with 13 points and five assists.
Eastern Michigan took a comfortable 30-19 lead into the half. The Spartans struggled from the field in the opening 20 minutes, shooting just 24 percent.
In the second half, the Eagles shot 56 percent from the floor and never surrendered their advantage, going up by as many as 19..
The Eagles' reserves outscored the Spartans' bench, 24-11.
