Damian Lillard helps Blazers beat Pelicans

Damian Lillard scored 24 points with seven assists to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 102-93 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.

LaMarcus Aldridge returned from an illness to post 22 points and nine rebounds for the Blazers, who have won five straight. Wesley Matthews netted 16 and Chris Kaman notched 15 points with 10 rebounds in the win.

Anthony Davis finished with season high-tying 31 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks for New Orleans, which has lost seven straight in Portland.

Jrue Holiday scored 14, Tyreke Evans had 13 with eight assists and Ryan Anderson chipped in with 12 points off the bench.
