NBC Sports Group has reached an agreement to continue televising the Breeder's Cup World Championships through 2025.
NBC and Breeders' Cup Ltd. announced Thursday that a 10-year extension has been finalized. The current association between the two organizations began in 2012.
"We're proud to extend our partnership with the Breeders' Cup as we continue to showcase the most prestigious events in horse racing," said Jon Miller, President of Programming, NBC Sports and NBCSN. "We look forward each year to concluding the horse racing season with two days of terrific racing at the Breeders' Cup."
Under the agreement, NBC and the NBC Sports Network will have eight hours of live coverage of the event each year, with the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic airing during primetime.

This week's Breeders' Cup will be held at Santa Anita Park for a third straight time Friday and Saturday. The 2015 World Championships will be conducted for the first time at Keeneland Race Course with Santa Anita again the site in 2016 and Del Mar set to host for the first time in 2017.
