Sean O'Haire of WWE fame dead at 43

The wrestler competed in WCW and WWE, and later transitioned to kickboxing and MMA.

SPARTANBURG, S.C., Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Sean O'Haire has died at age 43.

The former WCW and WWE wrestler died Monday, and was discovered at his home on Tuesday. The cause of death is currently unknown, but no foul play is suspected. The Spartanburg, S.C. coroner is awaiting toxicology reports.

O'Haire was born Sean Haire in 1971, and made his WCW debut in June 2000. He and wrestler Mark Jindrak defeated Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Juventud Guerrera in their first match, and won the World Tag Team Championship three months later. O'Haire later teamed with Chuck Palumbo, and the pair went on to compete in the WWE. The wrestler transitioned to kickboxing and MMA in 2004, and opened his own barbershop after retirement.

"Doesn't matter how many times it happens, it never gets easier," former WWE star Billy Kidman tweeted Tuesday. "My thoughts and prayers are with the family. #RIPSeanOHaire."

O'Haire is survived by his sister and three brothers.
