National League Game Summary - Pittsburgh at Chicago, Game One

Josh Harrison drove in the winning run in the 11th inning and the Pittsburgh Pirates grabbed a 5-3 win over the Chicago Cubs in the conclusion of Friday's suspended opener of this three-game set.

The two clubs were tied at 3-3 in the top of the seventh when the game went into a second rain delay, and it was eventually suspended until Saturday.

In the 11th with Wesley Wright (0-3) on the mound, Neil Walker doubled with one out and walks from Gregory Polanco and Brent Morel loaded the bases. Harrison singled home one, and Tony Sanchez plated another with a sacrifice fly for a 5-3 lead.

John Holdzkom tossed a 1-2-3 bottom of the 11th for his first career save.

Harrison went 4-for-6 with two RBI and a run scored for the Pirates, who snapped a four-game losing streak. Harrison, though, left the game in the bottom of the 11th after suffering an injury to his left ankle.

Vance Worley started the game and allowed three runs -- two earned -- on five hits over 4 2/3 innings. Mark Melancon (3-4) tossed two scoreless innings to earn the win.

Chris Valaika went 3-for-5 with an RBI for the Cubs, who came into the series having swept the Milwaukee Brewers in a three-game set.

Chicago rookie left-hander Tsuyoshi Wada left in the fourth inning with mild cramping in his left calf. He allowed three runs -- two earned -- on three hits and a walk in 3 1/3 innings.
