BRISTOL, Conn., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Tim Tebow, a former Heisman trophy winner currently not employed by the NFL, is owned in 1.3 percent of ESPN's fantasy leagues.
Tebow is spending this season in front of the camera as an analyst for the SEC Network covering college football.
He's not on the field this year, but either a bunch of fans didn't realize that or they have high hopes. A team in 1.3 percent of all ESPN fantasy leagues has drafted the former Denver Broncos quarterback, the network said.
In a tweet posted by the NFL on ESPN Twitter account, the network pointed out that Tebow is on more fantasy teams than current Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback Chad Henne.
In @ESPNFantasy leagues, 1.3% of teams own Tim Tebow, while 0.8% of teams own Jaguars starting QB Chad Henne. Seriously.— NFL on ESPN (@ESPNNFL) September 2, 2014
