Pair of Lions, Riders comprise Week 8's top performers

British Columbia running back Stefan Logan and return man Tim Brown and the Saskatchewan duo of defensive end John Chick and wide receiver Rob Bagg were named the top players for Week 8 of the CFL season.

Logan earned the offensive award after rushing for a career-high 145 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries as the Lions beat the Argonauts in Toronto.

Brown was a standout performer on special teams, returning a career-high 10 punts for 169 yards and returning three kickoffs for 80 yards.

Chick took home the defensive honor for the second straight week after collecting three sacks and forcing a fumble in the Roughriders' win over visiting Montreal.

Bagg was named the top Canadian player after catching six passes for 90 yards and one touchdown.
