Tony Stewart to sit out Michigan

Tony Stewart has made the decision not to compete in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event this weekend at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.

Stewart, who struck and killed a fellow competitor walking on the dirt track during a caution in a sprint car race on Saturday night at Canandaigua Motorsports Park last week, has not made a decision on upcoming Sprint Cup races. He did not race in last week's event at Watkins Glen following the incident.
