Reports: Chiefs, RB Charles agree to extension

The Kansas City Chiefs and star running back Jamaal Charles have agreed to a two-year contract extension, according to multiple reports Wednesday.

The new deal will make Charles one of the highest-paid running backs in the NFL after he had been set to earn under $4 million this season based on the contract he signed in 2010, NFL.com and ESPN both reported.
