Ronda Rousey could face Gina Carano in December

Should Gina Carano sign a contract with UFC, it's likely she'll face Ronda Rousey in UFC 181 in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS, July 19 (UPI) -- UFC President Dana White said Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey would fight for the bantamweight title in December should Carano sign a deal.

White intends to sign Carano to a contract during a meeting scheduled with her and her lawyer Monday.

The fight would likely take place Dec. 6 at UFC 181 in Las Vegas.

Rousey is the undefeated current and first UFC Women's Bantamweight champion.

Carano was a UFC fighter but took a five-year break from the sport to act.
