The New York Mets activated pitcher Dillon Gee from the 15-day disabled list Wednesday and optioned pitcher Gonzalez Germen to Triple-A Las Vegas.
Back from a right lat strain, Gee makes his first start since May 10 on Wednesday when he opposes Atlanta's Ervin Santana at Citi Field.

Gee went 3-1 with a 2.73 ERA in eight starts before landing on the DL.
Germen has no record and a 4.78 ERA in 21 relief appearances for the Mets this season.
