JK Endofanera won an elimination race for the Meadowlands Pace as the 2-5 favorite.

"It's a pretty good bunch of colts and they were going to race me," Sears said following the race. "My horse raced game and was good to the wire."

The 3-year-old colt won the North America Cup last month as a 12-1 longshot versus nine other pacers. JK Endofanera comes into the Pace with five wins in six starts this year for $566,667.

The 5-2 second pick for the Meadowlands Pace is champion colt He's Watching. The Dan Patch Award winner won the second Meadowlands Pace elimination event and will leave from post 3 with Tim Tetrick driving.

"He's very fast and he's smart," said Tetrick who drove the colt for the second time. "He likes to win. I was just trying to put him in play, and work out that kind of a trip."
