KIRKLAND, Wash., June 21 (UPI) -- Olympic soccer player Hope Solo was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly hitting her sister and nephew at her home outside Seattle.

Solo was charged with two counts of domestic violence assault and was being held at SCOPE misdemeanor jail in South King County without bail, The Seattle Times reported.

The incident took place at the Kirkland home Solo shares with her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens.

"There was a big party going on at her house. It was an out-of-control situation," said Kirkland police Lt. Mike Murray.

"There were visible injuries on" Solo's sister and nephew, he added.

It's not Solo's first brush with domestic violence. In 2012, hours before their wedding, Stevens was arrested for allegedly assaulting Solo.
