LOS ANGELES, June 20 (UPI) -- Sports analyst Terry Bradshaw said his dig at Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was harmless fun and he doesn't feel he needs to apologize.

During a performance of his one-man show, America's Favorite Dumb Blonde, earlier this week, Bradshaw made a mention of Manning's recent Super Bowl loss.

"Peyton Manning, considered the best quarterback to play the game today. Nobody would argue with that -- if you like winning good during the season and losing Super Bowls, that's your guy," Bradshaw said to laughter and a couple cheers.

"I got caught up in the moment ... it just popped out," Bradshaw told TMZ about the dig.

"Does Jay Leno call and apologize to people when he makes a joke about them?" he said, adding that he considers Manning "one of the greatest QBs ever."
