LOS ANGELES, June 17 (UPI) -- U.S. soccer star Landon Donovan makes light of his surprising exclusion from Jurgen Klinsmann's 2014 World Cup squad.

The 32-year-old Los Angeles Galaxy forward, Major League Soccer's all-time top goalscorer, may not have made it to Brazil with the rest of the U.S. Men's National Team. But he's a pretty good sport about it in a delightfully self-aware advertisement for EA's FIFA video game.

In the commercial, Donovan shuffles around his house in a terrycloth USA bathrobe. When he sits down and scores a goal playing the FIFA game, he rolls his eyes at the camera.

"I'm not going to Brazil...," he mutters repeatedly, before laughing.
