Aaron Hill drove in two timely runs to lead the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 4-1 victory over the Houston Astros from Chase Field. Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and two runs scored and Martin Prado tripled for the Diamondbacks, who have won six of their last eight games. Bronson Arroyo (6-4) tossed seven solid innings of one-run ball, allowing six hits with two walks and five strikeouts. Arroyo is now 10-1 in his last 13 starts against the Astros. Jon Singleton supplied three hits and a run scored for Houston, which entered the game with wins in four of its last five. Astros starter Brad Peacock surrendered just one run on three hits across six frames, but Josh Fields (1-4) was tagged with the loss after giving up two runs -- one earned -- in the seventh.
