CLEVELAND, June 6 (UPI) -- Newly drafted Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was supposed to throw out the first pitch of Wednesday's Indians game, but it was not to be after the game was rained out.

The rookie former Aggie and fellow teammate Justin Gilbert waited around about two hours after the game's scheduled start time, waving to the crowd as a Browns chant went through the crowd.

When asked if he thought Manziel would throw a two-seam fastball or a four-seamer for the opening pitch, Indians manager Terry Francona said, "I hope he scrambles."
