Steelers sign first-round pick Shazier

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed linebacker Ryan Shazier, the 15th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, to a four-year contract on Thursday.

Shazier spent three seasons at Ohio State and racked up 316 tackles, 14 sacks, 44 1/2 tackles for loss and nine forced fumbles in 39 games, including the final 29 as the Buckeyes' starting weakside outside linebacker.

During his junior season in 2013, the 6-foot-1, 237-pounder racked up 143 total tackles, six sacks and four forced fumbles in 13 games to earn first- team All-America honors.

Following the signing of Shazier, Pittsburgh has now inked six of their nine selections from this year's draft.
