Orioles' Davis returns from paternity list

The Baltimore Orioles activated slugger Chris Davis from the paternity list on Tuesday.

Davis left the team over the weekend in order to attend the birth of his child -- a daughter his wife, Jill, delivered on Sunday.

To make room on the roster, the Orioles optioned catcher Steve Clevenger to Triple-A Norfolk.

They are in Milwaukee for a series against the Brewers.
