Giants take a 6-4 win over the Marlins

Michael Morse hit a two-run home run and finished with three RBI as the San Francisco Giants took a 6-4 win over the Miami Marlins to open a four-game set.

Buster Posey drove in a pair of runs, while Hunter Pence went 3-for-5 with two runs scored for the Giants, who have won four of their last five.

Matt Cain (1-3) gave up four runs on six hits with three walks and seven strikeouts over 7 2/3 innings to get his first win in his seventh start of the season.

Garrett Jones hit a two-run home run, Derek Dietrich added a solo home run and Casey McGehee drove in the other run for the Marlins, who have lost six of their last seven games.

Nathan Eovaldi (2-2) was tagged for six runs on nine hits over 4 1/3 innings to take the loss.
