BUFFALO, N.Y., May 13 (UPI) -- Hall-of-Fame quarterback Jim Kelly shared a Mother's Day dance with his wife in the hospital as he undergoes chemotherapy.

Kelly, who once played for the Buffalo Bills, has been undergoing treatment since early April for an aggressive recurrence of oral cancer. In addition to chemotherapy, he is also undergoing daily radiation treatments to shrink the metastases that have spread in his head.

Though Kelly spent Mother's Day in his hospital room, he still wanted to make the day special for his wife. His daughter, Erin, captured their touching moment on Instagram with the caption: "Daddy just wanted to dance with his bride on Mother's Day #prayersforjk"
