LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 5 (UPI) -- Tom Brady wasn't the only football player having a good time at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.

Wes Welker made it rain for complete strangers who just happened to be around when the Denver Broncos wide receiver won thousands of dollars gambling at the races.

After collecting his cash, Welker started handing out $100 bills.

β€œHe said he just won the Kentucky Derby and proceeded to walk down the line until the police officer stopped him,” one lucky recipient told USA Today. "I think six of us ended up with $100 bills."
