Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Kansas City Royals activated relief pitcher Tim Collins from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday.
Collins laded on the disabled list on April 7 with a flexor strain in his elbow. The southpaw appeared in two games this season and allowed four runs on two hits over one inning.

To make room for Collins on the active roster, Kansas City optioned reliever Aaron Brooks to Triple-A Omaha. Brooks was recalled on Friday and allowed six runs on seven hits over two innings in the Royals' 9-2 loss to Detroit on Saturday.
